ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

FOR

TEAMSTERS LOCAL 577 SCHOLARSHIP

1. Applicant’s Father, Mother, or Guardian must be a current member of Teamsters Local Union 577 in good standing at least one (1) year OR be the son or daughter of a deceased member

2. Applicant must be a 2025 high school graduating senior

3. Applicant must attend a two (2) or four (4) year college or university

4. Recipient will be chosen based upon satisfactory scholastic rating and need for financial aid by a panel of three (3) people who are in no way connected with Teamsters Local 577

5. The scholarship will be paid directly to the recipient after enrollment. Recipient must show proof of enrollment for the Fall Semester for a minimum of twelve (12) hours following acceptance of this scholarship or scholarship will be forfeited

6. Applicant may be required to be present for an interview before the Panel

7. Complete application must be received by Friday, May 30, 2025, 5:00 pm at the office of Teamsters Local 577, 201 N Johnson St, Amarillo, TX 79107 or via e-mail to lu577@teamsters577.com
